Summary

PaperGloss Screen printing inks for paper and board are high gloss display inks, suitable for a wide variety of display uses. These inks exhibit good strength and mileage with excellent printability and rub resistance.

Drying

PaperGloss are rapid drying and dry in seconds in a jet dryer.

Thinning

PaperGloss inks should be thinned with up to 40% PaperGloss thinner A3-91. PaperGloss retarder A3-92 should be used for improved screen stability. Solvents can be blended to obtain desired drying speeds.

Stock

Most types of display paper & boards are suitable, as well as enameled metals, foil and hardboards. It is advisable to check the inks performance on the particular batch of substrate before starting a print run.

Coverage

An estimated coverage of approximately 40-50 m2/kg can be expected, depending on conditions, if the normal reducer and mesh recommendations are followed.

PAPERGLOSS INK SERIES A3-00

  • PaperGloss inks are high gloss display screen printing inks , suitable for paper, board and a wide range of substrates. These inks exhibit excellent printability and strength coupled with good press performance.
  • DRYING PaperGloss inks are rapid drying inks and dry in seconds in a jet dryer.
  • THINNING PaperGloss inks should be thinned with up to 40% PaperGloss thinner A3-91. PaperGloss retarder A3-92 should be used for improved screen stability. Solvents can be blended to obtain desired drying speeds.
  • PRINTING MATERIALS Most stencil materials are suitable with PaperGloss inks although solvent adhered stencils are not recommended. A monofilament synthetic mesh of 90-100 threads/cm is recommended for best results.
  • STOCK Most types of display paper & boards are suitable, as well as enamelled metals, foil and hardboards. It is advisable to check the inks performance on the particular batch of substrate before starting a print run.

  • SAFETY PaperGloss inks and solvents are designed to be free of control by Highly Flammable Liquids Regulations and are also lead free. They meet the guidelines concerning the Toys Safety Regulations 1974 S1:1367.
