Summary

ViaScreen inks are high gloss Screen Ink suitable for flexible and rigid PVC sheet, The high flexibility of these inks makes them especially suitable for multilayer work.

Drying

ViaScreen inks dry quickly through jet dryers. For air drying allow approximately 7 minutes, depending on condition.

Thinning

ViaScreen thinner B7-91 is recommended with reduction up to 40. For greater screen stability use ViaScreen Retarder B7-92.

Stock

A wide range of acrylic, flexible and rigid PVC sheet is suitable. It is recommended that each grade of PVC used, be tested before a print run to ensure problems of adhesion and blocking do not occur as result of plasticiser.

Durability

ViaScreen inks are designed to be durable for up to three years when used outdoors, depending on conditions. All pigments used in the range have lightfastness of at least 7 on the Blue Wool Scale.

Coverage

An estimated coverage of approximately 40-45 m2/kg can be obtained with ViaScreen inks, provided standard recommendations for reducer and mesh are followed.

VIASCREEN INK SERIES B7-00

  • ViaScreen inks are high gloss screen printing inks suitable for flexible and rigid PVC sheet. The high flexibility of these inks makes them especially suitable for multilayer work.
  • DRYING ViaScreen inks dry quickly through jet dryers. For air drying allow approximately 7 minutes, depending on conditions.
  • PRINTING MATERIALS ViaScreen inks are suitable for most stencil materials. Best results are obtained printed through 90-110 threads/cm using a monofilament synthetic mesh.
  • STOCK A wide range of Acrylic, flexible and rigid PVC sheet is suitable. It is recommended that each grade of PVC used, be tested before a print run to ensure problems of adhesion and blocking do not occur as a result of plasticiser migration from the substrate.
  • DURABILITY ViaScreen inks are designed to be durable for up to three years when used outdoors, depending on conditions. All pigments used in the range have lightfastness of at least 7 on the Blue Wool Scale.
  • COVERAGE An estimated coverage of approximately 40-45 m²/kg can be obtained with ViaScreen inks, provided standard recommendations for reducer and mesh are followed.
  • SAFETY ViaScreen inks and solvents are designed to be free of control by the Highly Flammable Liquids Regulations 1972. The inks are also free of lead-chrome or other heavy metal compounds.
